The Hidden Psychology Behind Protests, Relationships, & Social Movements
Enjoy this 1 hour discussion about the USA protests - what are both sides doing wrong? What could they be doing better?
I love conversing on podcasts. You never know what’s going to happen. In this conversation, we discuss the concept of 'soft eugenics' and how it shows up in various life domains such as the new height filter on dating apps (source). We explore the dynamics of personality, the psychology of protests, and there is extra emphasis on how protestors and law enforcement often screw up and how they can be more persuasive.
Psychologists need to do more than write about the importance of dissent, defiance, and disagreement. They need to offer advice on modern moral issues and problems. This conversation occurred amid protests around the United States to argue against the President’s immigration policies and totalitarian approach to leadership. I look forward to your thoughts, questions, and beefs in the comment section.

This was an epic, philosophical, psychologically driven, and amazing conversation with you Todd and Mr. Alex Levy! I loved that the Big Five 2nd version was introduced and supported, the political issues revolving around protests, especially in Los Angeles were understood in the correct, recognizable frame of mind, and I am so grateful that I listed to everything you both had to say from a beautifully driven, thoughtful and thought-provoking discussion that stood the test of time and life experience. I feel like I all of a sudden want to be on this podcast with either and each of you for your uniqueness, no question about it! Thank you so much, Todd, for your phenomenal understanding of the extent to which positive moments can thrive via human flourishing when people are treated with dignity, respect, and valuing of human decency and compassion.
